Hellz ya! BooYA!
I started following the official program in the Spring, but promptly forgot about it two weeks in. So, I was sitting around last night and found my original program, and thought “Hmmmm. I have been lifting heavier weights with higher reps over the last couple of months. HMMMMM….”.
The first 50 I did military style, in blocks of 10-20 with 30-45 second breaks between. The next 50 I did “girlie” style (YES, it still counts!) in blocks of 10-15.
The first 80 were no problem/verging on starting to get hard. The last 20 were hard, the last 10 were a struggle and the last 5 were pure torture. I’m pretty sure I forgot to breathe during that last set of 20 and when I was done, I felt like puking.
My arms felt a little bit sore this morning but they’re fine now, although I might end up with some DOMS tomorrow.
